Even though I lost, I think Francesca Schiavone and I played a good match. Here is one shot of the match, which made "shot of the day" on thursday. I hope you like it!

That wasn't the preparation I was hoping for. Unfortunately I got sick and I spent the last 3 days in bed. But I will try my best to get ready for my match tomorrow. Fingers crossed...

Hey! I am in Katowice right now for my next tournament. I have fully recovered from my sickness in Miami and I am ready for my first round tomorrow against fellow German player Annika Beck.

It is hard to find anything positive about my match performances lately, which is kind of sad, because I was playing so well in practice the last two weeks and I felt like I was making good improvements. But today I just wasn't able to show it in my match. It can be quite depressing being on court and you know you can do so much better, but for some kind of reason you are not able to. Nevertheless I just enjoy being in court and I love to play tennis, so I will try everything to get back to my top level.

I won my match 7:6 6:3 today. I'm happy winning the match and it is such a good feeling being back on the Center Court here in Stuttgart. I love playing here. I'm still not where I want to be and there are a lot of things I can improve, but I am getting there step by step. Let's see where it takes me tomorrow.

I hope you all had a happy Easter! I definetely had one. I won my match 6:1 6:2 against Antonia Lottner today. Antonia is a talented player, but I am happy with my performance today.
Tomorrow I play Ajla Tomljanovic second after 1 o'clock on Center Court. Let's do this.

I lost a tough match 7:6 in the third against Ajla Tomljanovic today! But the good news is, I got lucky loser and I will play Jelena Jankovic tomorrow. So happy to get another chance to play in Stuttgart. I love playing at home.

What a match! Unfortunately I didn't took my chances. I had 4 matchpoints in the second set, but in the end Jelena was just too good. But this match was definetely a step in the right direction and I am really looking forward to my next tournaments. Tomorrow I am on my way to Estoril.

I know the last year has been really tough for me, so this victory is even sweeter. But I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody, who was supporting me through this time. Thank you very much. This victory is for you.

And by the way I have no twitter.

Good Night Seoul! Very happy with my first round win against Caroline Garcia (7:6 6:3). It was actually my first win ever in Asia... So I already improved compared to the last two years.
Tomorrow I am playing singles against Christina McHale and I will also play doubles.
